October was a fairly quiet month for work, mainly because I had committed to attending my brother's wedding over on the island of Rhodes, in Greece. Such beach / pool type holidays aren't really my thing, but it was lovely to be warm for a week, and to spend time with family and friends, including making some new ones. The ceremony was lovely, with beautiful weather, a gorgeous sunset and much fun.

And the boat trip we went on, which involved some sea swimming stops, and (distant) views of turtles, was fabulous.

Back home though, the winter season is rapidly approaching, so it was great to see that the efforts at the squirrel woodland hide have been paying off, with we think, at least four or maybe even five individuals visiting.

One of the shots I think most clients will want, is this "Christmas Card" type shot, where the squirrel sits on a bracket fungus, while munching away on a hazelnut.
